![]() And I have spent far too much money to be going through this problem. This is so frustrating for me because Dragon is a necessity not a luxury. all I know is I have Dragon premium 13 and Excel 2013 and cannot get my Dragon to work within Excel. Mine was disabled, and I enabled it in device manager, but it has no driver or software installed yet.ĭON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT COMPUTING TO KNOW HOW TO HANDLE MY PROBLEM EITHER OR HOW TO OPEN A THREAD ETC. I ran across a document which said that for successful installation of the program on a laptop with a biometric fingerprint scanner that the scanner needs to be enabled. My Andrea Superbeam is also not detected as a microphone jack device, or with the external USB soundcard. I also completely uninstalled naturallyspeaking 10.1, including old user profiles, and reinstalled, to no avail. I've tried all combinations of settings in the sound profiles in the control panel, but nothing works. Every time I try to create a new user in naturallyspeaking (or adjust the volume for an old user) the program cannot hear me on the microphone. After a couple of hard shutdowns the blue yeti no longer works in Dragon, but works perfectly well in windows speech recognition, and I can easily record in sound recorder. I have successfully been using my Blue Yeti microphone with Naturally Speaking 10.1 Professional on an IBM ThinkPad running Vista 32 for over five years.
